October 2022 – This month, we have held planning and design meetings with our Wanzl UK Retail Customer. The topic is SAP integration. Wanzl use the current Connect Enterprise software and are on a migration pathway to the new Cloud based versions of ConnectManager and Connect Mobile.
A key Unique Selling Point (USP) of the Connect solution is its ability to interface with third-party software such as SAP ByDesign.
Next year, in 2023, the Telecetera team will be implementing all the custom APIs and adding in all the Stock, Parts, Job Templates and other features needed by the numerous Wanzl UK teams who use the Connect software day in day out.
If you travel to Birmingham Airport or Bristol Airport and use the baggage trolleys – these are maintained by Wanzl UK and use Connect to Asset Manage and track maintenance and repair jobs.
If you shop at Sainsburys, Wanzl maintain and repair all their 300,000 Roll Cages, and are looking to Asset Manage these in the new version of Connect too.
If you buy bread at Asda, then Wanzl perform a ‘deep clean’ at their bakeries twice per year. They use Connect to plan and track these Jobs.
